CCPL Branches are open with limited capacity for in-person visits at Cecilton, Chesapeake City, Elkton, North East, Perryville, and Rising Sun.

The timeline will be updated as we continue to receive guidance from local and state health officials.

  • Library buildings closed to the public
  • In-person programming replaced by virtual programming for all ages
  • Book drops closed; all fines waived
  • New and expanded digital resources added for the public

  • Contactless Pickup begins at 4 locations
  • Services available by phone at 6 locations
  • Wi-Fi access extended to parking lots in all library locations

  • Marina, Maryland’s Inter-library loan service, is reinstated
  • Bookmobile resumes service to youth camps and neighborhoods
