"Blackboards & Barriers" is a poignant documentary that delves into the rich and often turbulent history of Colored Schools in Cecil County, Maryland. Following the personal stories of several former students, the film traces the evolution of black education from the emancipation of slaves through the era of segregation and the Civil Rights movement.
