The Board of Trustees is the governing body of the Cecil County Public Library. Comprised of seven citizens appointed by the County Executive, the Board brings a wealth of skills and leadership to ensure the long-term vitality of the library system.

The Board meets on the third Monday of the month at 4 pm (unless otherwise posted). These meetings are held at the Community Meeting Room at the North East Branch and are open to the public.

Note: In accordance with the Annotated Code of Maryland, State Government Article, and Section 3-305 of the Open Meetings Act, the Board of Library Trustees may find cause to meet in Closed Session, as outlined by General Provision 3-305(b).
