The Comptroller of Maryland offers extended telephone assistance hours for CURRENT YEAR Personal Income Tax from February 1 - April 18. Assistance will be available from 8:30 AM until 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday, except for State holidays. We can be reached by calling 410-260-7980 (central Maryland) or 1-800-MD TAXES (outside of Central Maryland). As an alternative for phone assistance, you can send an email to taxhelp@marylandtaxes.gov.

After April 18th, they will return to our normal hours: Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. excluding State Holidays.
