Reading books together is one of the most important activities you can do to help your child thrive. With 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten, you will help your child develop a life-long love of reading by taking the challenge to read 1,000 books.

CCPL’s Business Information Center provides free assistance with the process of starting or running a business or nonprofit. Meet with a Business Librarian to research business concepts, refine your plan, find industry-specific business information, conduct market research, and more. All Cecil County Public Library Branches have public Internet access computers with the Microsoft Office Suite as well as free wireless Internet service. WiFi is also available in all Cecil County Public Library Branch parking lots, look for CCPL_Outdoor_WiFi to connect your device.

Use the print request form to submit a print job from your phone or over the internet. 

Outgoing faxing is available. Incoming faxing and international faxing are not available. Faxing charges are $1 per fax.

Patrons with a Maryland Public Library card with borrowing privileges can request up to 20 materials not owned by their local public library system from another Maryland Public Library System using this service.

Meeting rooms are available at Chesapeake City, Elkton, North East, Perryville and Rising Sun Libraries. To make a meeting room reservation request, use this link or contact the branch. Be sure to read our meeting room policy before making a reservation request.

Black and white printing and photocopying are available at all branches. Color printing and photocopying are available at the Elkton Branch Library and the North East Branch Library. Charges are as follows:

Scan-to-email services are available at all branches. Color scanning is available at the Elkton, North East, and Perryville branches. There is no charge for scanning. 

Share a story with your family and enjoy fun learning activities as you walk along the trails at Calvert Regional Park, Brantwood Park, Conowingo Park, and Perryville Park. Stories change seasonally, so visit the parks often to experience a whole new story trail! This project is in partnership with the Cecil County Department of Parks and Recreations and was made possible by the Maryland State Library and the Institute of Museum and Library Services. A partnership between the Cecil County Public Library and the Cecil County Public School system allows all CCPS students to use their student ID at any library location in Cecil County and throughout our website. NO REGISTRATION needed. Learn more here.

Study rooms are available at the Elkton and North East. To reserve a study room, use this link to reserve yourself or if you need help, come in, call, or email.

Use of these rooms is limited to two hours, three times per week.

If you are over 30 minutes late for your study room reservation, the room may be given to someone else to use.

Please check in with a staff member when you get to the Library, before using the study room.
