Library Closure

The Town of Cecilton is paving the Library’s parking lot. The Cecilton Library will be closed Wednesday, 4/17 - Sunday, 4/20, and will reopen on Monday, 4/21. The bookdrop will be closed during this time. Please visit the Chesapeake City Branch Library or the Elkton Branch Library. For assistance, please call (410) 996-5600.

Program Description

Event Details

Did you know that spending time with pets can impact your mental health? When we pet a dog, cat or bunny, our bodies release mood elevating hormones and decrease our stress hormones. Experience these benefits while meeting and greeting PAWS for People therapy dogs! Participants will learn more about pet therapy’s  benefits and discover ways to help themselves and others improve their mental health.

For teens ages 11-17.
