Summer Reading

Summer Reading & Learning Program For All Ages June 1 - August 12

Register for a program based on the age groups below. Then, log your reading in one of two ways: 

  1. Option 1: Printed Log- Pick up a reading log from any branch of the Cecil County Public Library. Visit the library to receive your reading rewards and enter raffle tickets for a chance to win a prize.
  2. Option 2Online Program- Track your reading online and enter prize raffles using Beanstack or the Beanstack mobile app (Android) (iOS).

Children's Summer Reading & Learning Program

Use your log to keep track of each day that you read for at least 15 minutes this summer, and complete fun reading challenges. Participants may read on their own, or have someone read to them. For every 10 days of reading, visit the library to receive the following reading rewards:

Teen Summer Reading & Learning Program

Use your log to keep track of each day that you read for at least 30 minutes this summer, and complete fun reading challenges. For every 10 days of reading, visit the library to receive the following reading rewards:

Adult Summer Reading & Learning Program

Track your reading for the fun of it! Challenge yourself this summer and complete your Summer Reading Rings. For each challenge you complete, mark your reading ring. Then, visit the library to enter for a chance to win 2 tickets to the Crab Crawl.
