Summer Reading

Step 1: Register for the program

Families can register all participating children and teens using the link below. Adult participants do not need to register.

Step 2: Log your reading in one of two ways

1. Option 1: Printed Log- Pick up a reading log from any branch of the Cecil County Public Library. Visit the library to receive your reading rewards and enter raffle tickets for a chance to win a prize.
2. Option 2: Online Program- Track your reading online and enter prize raffles using Beanstack or the Beanstack mobile app (Android) (iOS).

Step 3: Give us your feedback

After you complete your challenge, please take a moment to fill out the Summer Reading & Learning survey. Your response is important to us and will help improve our program.

Use your log to keep track of each day that you read with your child this summer, and complete fun reading challenges. For every 10 days of reading, visit the library to receive the following reading rewards:

Mark each reading challenge you complete. Then, visit the library to enter for a chance to win 2 tickets to the annual Crab Crawl.
