Library Closure

The Chesapeake City Branch Library will be temporarily closed for updates from Monday, December 1, 2025, through Saturday, January 3, 2026. The Branch will reopen on Monday, January 5, and will be open 6 days per week. For assistance during the closure, please call (410) 996-5600 or email ask@cecilcountylibrary.org.

Book Sponsorship

 

Give the gift of Reading! Sponsor books in memory or in honor of someone special. With a gift of $25 or more for youth books or $50 or more for adult books, we’ll personalize a bookplate in a library book. Books are selected based on genre, but not specific titles.

Your book sponsorship will help the Library continue to provide new, popular, and classic titles for all ages.
