You are invited to watch with us at the Elkton Branch Library, the North East Branch Library, or stream on your device Calvert County Library's event with Michelle Coles, author of the award-winning book, Black Was the Ink.
Through the help of a ghostly ancestor, sixteen-year-old Malcom time-travels through Reconstruction-era American to find his place in modern-day Black progress. Perfect for fans of Jason Reynolds and Nic Stone, this is a coming-of-age story and an exploration of an era that defined modern America.
